Well, here we are with the 2011 Winter Solstice to New Year Holiday Greetings!
Last January, I decided to pursue the postcard-a-week format, based around trees in their many manifestations. We live in the trees, so 52 different ways to think of a tree is a very minor challenge. You get only one, but you can see the whole set if you are so inclined by clicking on this link to Tree Poatcards 2011.
An eventful year with many events of various sorts: welcome visits from children and grandchildren, entrepreneurial ventures with Ed selling postcards from Somewhere in Point Roberts at the weekly Saturday Market, a new quilt series (Improvisational Quilts, intended to sit squarely on the line between art and craft), roofing of the Orchard House and our subsequent move into that house while Ed uses the Little House as his photo office. I've kept a chronicle of the medical stuff if you want updating. And if you are interested in knowing more about our continuing odd life in Point Roberts, there's my blog.
We are well, expect you are too, and hope for an excellent year for all of us in 2012.
